The new  European distribution center of Carglass in Genk  is more than 40,000 m² in size. To illuminate this floor area, the artificial lighting is supplemented by the  EcoNation LightCatcher technology . In total there will be  422 skylights  placed in this warehouse. The skylights provide  for optimal light distribution of daylight  over the workplaces, without bright rays or shadows. A light control will measure the daylight level. When sufficient natural daylight enters the warehouse, the artificial light is dimmed and even extinguished. With 422 LightCatchers in its 40,000 m² warehouse, approximately 175 MWh is expected to be saved annually.
