The rooflights at Total Ertvelde were worn out and the daylight that came in brought a lot of heat with it. In addition, the beams of daylight also disrupted the sensors of the machines. 

Total decided to replace the skylights with LightCatchers. As a result of this intervention, the roof opening was reduced from 900m² to 200m². As a result, the building is much better insulated. The heat is kept out in the summer and much less heat is lost in the winter. The diffused light that the LightCatcher spreads in the building ensures that the sensors are no longer affected.
