The light streets at Total Ertvelde were worn out and caused a lot of heat in the building. In addition, the daylight beams also disrupted the sensors of the machines.

Total decided to replace the skylights by LightCatchers. Due to this intervention, the roof opening was reduced from 900m² to 200m². As a result, the building is much better insulated. The heat is kept out in the summer and much less heat is lost in the winter. The diffused light that the LightCatcher distributes in the building ensures that the sensors are no longer influenced.
